Instilling the Love of Learning
Compassion and creativity are at the core of everything we do. Using the arts as the driving force behind a multicultural curriculum, this
program, taught by the school's founder and director -- Judy Hirt-Manheimer -- and her expert staff follows the Bank Street School philosophy by creating an
environment in which children learn by using all their senses and problem solving skills. We instill a sense of wonder about life and teach through world music, dance,
literature, languages, cooking, science, ecological awareness (e.g. we grow plants
in the school's organic garden) and more. Creativity blossoms every day in the Enchanted Garden's nurturing
environment. Whether learning the alphabet or numbers, how to follow directions or interact positively with their peers, children love being at the Enchanted Garden. While the majority of students
attend five days per week, you may sign up for fewer days. 4/day tuition: $2800/year (no charge for fifth day). Mid-Sept. to mid-June. Open enrollment.
