Whether you are an experienced practitioner or don't know a cobra from a downward dog, you will be able to bond with your child through movement, games and relaxation while helping to develop your child's body awareness and eepen mental focus. Yoga is a system of holistic self-improvement which was developed in India thousands of years ago. The practice of yoga (union) unites the mind and the body. A regular yoga practice improves balance, coordination and posture; builds strength, stamina, and endurance; improves muscle tone and flexibility; increases energy and vitality; strenghtens the immune system; improves memory and concentration; calms the mind, reduces tension and releases stress; and creates a sense of inner peace and well being. Yoga classes are taught by experienced instructors in our spacious studios. Suitable for all ages and levels. Beginners are welcome. Cost: $18/class drop-in; $15/class with purchase of 10-class card.
