Off-Broadway Kids Jr. Summer
(grades K-1)
Led by "Ozzie" Ashburn, one of the area's most dynamic acting teachers, children have a great time putting on a show at the end of each two-week session. Don't worry if you can't make it every day of the two-week sessions. We can still create a character just right for you. Each production uses bits of the titles' music to create new characters and story lines specially designed for the ages and interest of the children in each group. This summer's performances will be Session 1: "Into the Woods & Out of the Woods" (exploring characters and music from the show "Into the Woods") June 28-July 2; July 5-9th; Session 2: "The Wizard Is In" (exploring "wizardous" characters, magic, and music) July 12-16; July 19-23; Session 3: "Westside Stories" (exploring music from the show "Westside Story" and other musical conflicts) July 26-30, Aug. 2-6; Session 4: "Lion King" Aug. 16-27. Tuition $350 for two weeks. 10% discount when enrolling in two or more sessions. Kindergartners can combine this with Theme camps in the morning. for students who take all three sessions. Summer Girls Hip hop Weekly Classes
(Grades K-5)
A hip hop program for girls. Dates: June 23-August 24. They meet once a week on Wednesdays. Grades K-2 meet from 4:30-5:30 and grades 3-5 meet from 5:30-6:30. Cost: $150 for a 10 class card.

Summer Breakdance Weekly Classes

These weekly classes combine "Power Moves + Tricks" and "Footwork + Flow." They meet once a week on Tuesdays from June 22-Aug.24. Grades K-2 meet from 4:30-5:30 and grades 3-5 meet from 5:30-6:30. Cost: 10 class card costs $150. Call (203) 431-3350 to register.

Summer Breakdance Intensive Workshops
(Ages 8 through Teens)
Join a one week summer camp of one-on-one break dance training. Focus on specific techniques that will strengthen your mind and body, help you understand movement, and open new doors to creativity on the dance floor! Class 1: "Power Moves + Tricks" (June 21-24, July 12-15, & Aug. 2-5). Description: Build strength and balance + teach your body to do the impossible such as spinning on your head and much much more! Class 2: "Footwork + Flow" (June 14-17, July 19-22, & Aug. 9-12). Description: Focus on opening your mind to the endless possibilities of what you can do on the floor with your foundation! Nuts About the Nutcracker Camp
(grades K-12)
This program invites dancers to participate in the Fifth Annual "Nuts About the Nutcracker" winter performance, which provides dance students from the area with a wonderful opportuntiy to learn exciting new choreography in the summer that will later be rehearsed in the fall and performed the first weekend in December. Taking a new and original approach to the "Nutcracker Suite," Jean Cobelli's choreography transports this ballet classic by Tchaikovsky to Ridgefield, Connecticut. Experience as you have never before the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy; Russian, Arabian, and Chinese Dancers; wooden soldiers, and much more. Lively, contemporary music and dancing capture the spirit of Nutcracker yet give it a new look and feel -- as well as a new story. Proceeds benefit the Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation, an organization devoted to assisting families with children who have disabilities. Date: August 23-27. $275 for summer and fall 11:30-1:00pm (K-2); 1:00-2:30pm (Gr.3-4); 2:30-4:00pm (Gr.5-6); 4:00- 6:00pm (Gr.7-8); 6:00-8:00pm (Gr. 9-12).
